AFRICAN-AMERICAN HISTORY

WASHINGTON, (October 25, 2006) --

AnnaMaria Pasley, local recording artist, winner of Star Search Seattle, Semi Finalist for Showtime at the Apollo is

continuing her twin mission of empowerment-the lifting of spirits and good health thru inspirational entertainment. She is taking a full performing arts production into the public schools of Washington promoting the celebration of African-American History.

AnnaMaria Pasley and the African-American Cultural Center (AACC) has partnered to present another one of her tailored productions for the educational enrichment of students and staff entitled“The History of African-Americans: Celebrating it and Making it.”

Motivated by a wonderful childhood experience in elementary school which featured singers, actors and dancers from the local college, they challenged the students to hold on to their dreams and plan for the future. With that day staying playing vividly in her mind, AnnaMaria has formed an amazing cast of authentic African dancers, local rap artists, actors and more.
